You can contact a worker by phone or through the Workplace Chat feature. This article explains how to find a worker's phone number and how to send a message through the app.
Finding a Worker's Phone Number
Available on desktop only.
- Go to the "My Professionals" page from the menu on the left
- Select the worker's profile
- Find the contact information on the right-side panel
Sending a Message via Workplace Chat
The Workplace Chat feature lets you message a worker directly through the Clipboard app for up to 30 days after they book a shift at your workplace. You must hold the Admin, Supervisor, or Supervisor role to use this feature.

On mobile:
From the Chat window:

Open the Clipboard app on your phone
- Select the "Chat" tab from the bottom menu
- Tap the worker's name to open their channel
- Type your message and tap the arrow to send
Alternatively, from the Workers page:
- Open the Clipboard app on your phone
- Select the "Workers" tab from the bottom menu
- Locate the professional from your "Upcoming," "In Progress," or "Past" shifts.
- Tap "Message"
On desktop:
- Log in to the Clipboard web app

Open the "Chat" page from the left menu

Click the worker's name to open their channel and type your message
Alternatively, from the "My Professionals" page:

Select "My Professionals" from the left menu
- Locate the worker under "Past" or "Upcoming" professionals

Click the chat icon to open the worker's channel.

Type your message and select the arrow to send
Filtered Language
Profanity, sexually suggestive terms, and violent or hateful content are filtered and appear as *asterisks* in the chat window.
