Most workers in the Clipboard Health marketplace are 1099 independent contractors. This worker classification gives you the flexibility to work where and when you want and gives you more opportunities to maximize your earnings potential.
Overtime payments are only for W2 employees. Therefore, Clipboard Health does not pay overtime to any workers in the Clipboard Health marketplace.
However, Clipboard Health has recently released a new feature called Extra Time Pay! Extra Time Pay is used by our partner facilities to pay you, the healthcare professional, a bonus for working many hours with them.
Each facility can choose what types of Extra Time Pay they want to offer and how the bonus amount will be calculated. The amount of Extra Time Pay you earn can vary from shift to shift and facility to facility, which means the bonus cannot be earned by totaling hours worked across multiple facilities.
And how do you find which facilities offer Extra Time Pay? Easy! Navigate to the facility’s profile in the Clipboard Health app to find the Extra Time Pay dropdown menu. All of the Extra Time Pay offerings will be described there!
