How do I add a professional to my Do-Not-Return list?

If your facility does not want a specific professional to book future shifts at your facility, you can consider putting them on your Do-Not-Return (DNR) list. Adding a professional to your DNR list removes any upcoming shifts at your facility from the professional's calendar and prevents them from booking shifts at your facillity moving forward. You may add a professional to your DNR list for shift cancellations, late arrivals/early departures, safety or narcotics-related issues, or other violations of your facility’s rules or policies.

To remove a DNR, simply unselect the DNR/Block option on the professional's profile.

For any safety or narcotics-related DNR, you should also report the relevant incident to Clipboard Health’s Trust and Safety Department. Learn more about Incident Reporting here.

Requesting a DNR via Workers Page

1. Open our mobile Facility app on your phone (Must have Admin or Shift Management role)
2. Select the Workers page from the bottom menu
   
   
   
   
3. Locate the worker from your Upcoming, In Progress, or Past shifts.
4. Tap Block

Requesting a DNR via Calendar view

1. Open our mobile Facility app on your phone (Must have Admin or Shift Management role).
2. Select Shifts to open the calendar view (bottom-left).
3. Select a date and professional type (CNA, RN, etc.) from the top of your calendar.
   
   
   
   
4. Select the professional's shift card below your calendar.
   
   
   
   
5. Tap ··· More and select Block/DNR.

3. Select the professional you wish to block.

3. Locate the professional under your Favorites, Upcoming, In Progress, or Past shifts.
4. Click Block under "Quick Actions" (or open the professional's profile > Block).

Requesting a DNR via Performance Rating

1. Open the Clipboard Health portal (Must have Admin or Shift Management role).
2. Click on the professional's shift date in the calendar.
3. To the right of the calendar, click the shift block to expand the shift card.
4. Select the "Rate performance" option (or "View performance" if already rated).
   
   
   
   
5. Fill out the rating card and check the box next to "Block this worker from booking future shifts at your facility". Hit Submit to complete your review.
   Note: Only ratings of 3-stars and under will see the option to block a worker.
