The Facility Chat feature allows you to message any worker who has booked an upcoming shift, has a shift in progress, or has completed a shift within the last hour. Watch the video below or read our instructions to learn how to start a chat or manage your existing chats.

How to start a chat:
Step 1: Open the Facility app on your phone (Must have Admin or Shift Management role)
Step 2: Select Shifts (bottom-left) to open your Shift Calendar, then chose the worker type and date associated with the worker you want to contact.
Step 3: Scroll down to view your shift cards, then tap the blue arrow to view the shift details.
Step 3: Select Message worker
Managing your chats:
Step 1: Open the Facility app on your phone (Must have Admin or Shift Management role)
Step 2: Select the Chat option (bottom-center)
Note: Your chats will remain active for 1-hour after the shift's end-time. After 1-hour, you can still view the chat history but will be unable to send a message through this chat.
