Our referral payments are automatically processed. In order to receive a referral payment, both parties must activate and link your Stripe accounts to your Clipboard Health account.
Sign-up referrals are paid shortly after sign-up - as long as sign-up is complete with an approved license and a valid ID in the Clipboard Health app.
If you referred someone, but haven’t received your referral payment
For a Sign-up referral:
- Confirm that the professional you referred has completed the Clipboard Health sign-up, that their license is approved in the app, and that they have uploaded a valid ID.
- Check that your Stripe account is activated and linked to your Clipboard Health account.
- Confirm that your referred worker applied your referral code.
- If you meet the above criteria but still have not received your referral payment, please contact our support team. Be sure to check your notifications and your earnings to confirm if the payment was sent.
For an Activation referral:

Currently, first shift referrals are only open to selected professional types in specific areas, please see this guide for availability.
This means these users are currently not eligible for Sign-up referrals, as only one referral promotion is available at a time.

- Confirm that your referred professional applied your referral code before their first shift was verified.
- Allow 24-48 hours for your contact's first shift to be verified.
- Check that your Stripe account is activated and linked to your Clipboard Health account.

If you were referred by someone, but haven't received your referral payment
For a Sign-up referral:
- Double-check that you completed the Clipboard Health sign-up, that your license has been approved in the app, and that you have uploaded a valid ID.
- Make sure that your Stripe account is activated and linked to your Clipboard Health account.
- Confirm that you have entered the referral code.
- If you meet the criteria above but still have not received your referral payment, please contact our support team. Be sure to check your notifications and your earnings to confirm if the payment was sent.
