A Workplace can cancel a shift (or end it earlier than scheduled) at any time. However, canceling shifts on short notice has a significant impact on our marketplace and the workers seeking opportunities. We encourage you to cancel your shifts more than 24 hours in advance.
- If your shift has not been booked by a worker, you can delete the shift without any cancellation fee by following the instructions available here.
- If your shift is already booked by a worker, you may be subject to the standard cancellation fees detailed below. Please make sure your team is aware of your account's cancellation agreement and its applicable fees, prior to canceling a shift.
- Any applicable cancellation fee will be waived when canceling a worker with an estimated arrival that is 20 minutes (or more) past the shift's scheduled start-time. Please follow this guide to learn how to cancel and report a late arrival.
