This guide will help you understand the main features of the Clipboard Health app. We recommend that you read this article after you have completed the onboarding process.
How to download the app
Enabling Location Services
You will need to have Location Services enabled on your mobile device to use the Clipboard Health app. When enabling your Location Services, make sure the permissions are set to Always allow. These settings are required for essential features like clocking in/out, InstantPay, and Urgent Shifts. For instructions and more information, click here to view our guide.
Find available shifts
Located at the bottom-left of your screen, Find Shifts is where you can search for available shifts in the digital calendar.
To shop for shifts:
- Swipe between months and refine your search by selecting a date.
- Tap the blue mile indicator to modify your desired travel range.
- Tap on a date to view available shifts on that date.

View your shifts
At the bottom of your screen, My Shifts is the second option from the left. Tap My Shifts to view the shifts you have booked.
What can you do in the My Shifts tab:
- View your upcoming shifts.
- Chat with the facility.
- Upload your timesheet.
- Cancel an upcoming shift.
Attendance Score and Priority Access
Your Attendance Score is the number used to determine your account's standing. Tap Ratings in the bottom menu bar to see your Attendance Score and Priority Access.
When a facility gives you a rating of 4 or 5 stars, you will receive Priority Access for that facility's shift posting. You may also receive Priority access based on your Attendance at a facility.
What can you do in the Ratings tab:
- View your Attendance Score and our deduction table.
- View which facilities you have Priority Access for.
Support, payment, and more
On the bottom-right of your screen, My Account contains a variety of resources to manage your account.
What can you do in the My Account tab:
- View your missing and completed documents.
- Manage where and how you want to get paid.
- Update your Profile.
- See available promotions.
- Work with Friends.
- Change notification preferences.
- Access our support tools.
