The Workplace app now opens to the redesigned Schedule tab by default. From here, you can manage shifts, review your calendar, message workers, and complete workplace actions in one place. This guide covers:

Navigating the Schedule Tab
This page now includes Day and Month view.

Day view groups shifts by AM, PM, and NOC, with separate sections for each worker type.

Month view displays shift coverage across the calendar, including booked and open shifts.
To navigate the Schedule tab:

Select Day or Month to switch between detailed views.

Use the arrows to navigate between months in Month view or dates in Day view.

In Day view, use the calendar on the right side of the screen to select a specific date.

In Day view, select "Today" to return to the current date.

Use the Shift Types panel on the right side to show or hide shifts for specific worker types.
Posting Shifts
- Locate the date and shift time slot where coverage is needed.
- In the right-side panel, click the Plus (+) button for the required worker type.
- Set the number of shifts needed.
- Select "Post" to publish the shift to the marketplace
Sending Shift Invites
- Locate the date and shift time slot where coverage is needed.
- Click the Plus (+) button.
- In the right-side panel, click the Plus (+) button under the required worker type.
- Select the "Invite" option.
- Search for the worker by name or select them from your recent professionals.

Use the pencil icon to adjust the shift hours or increase the charge rate.
NOTE: You must be an Admin or Staffing Coordinator with "Can edit shift rate" permissions to increase the charge rate. - Leave the “If not accepted, post as open shift” box selected to automatically publish the shift to the marketplace if the invite is declined or expires. Untick the checkbox if you do not want an open shift.
- Click "Send Invite."
Posting Bulk Shifts
- Switch to Month view.
- Click “+ Add shifts” in the top-right corner.
- Select “Bulk” post.
- Choose the worker type needed.
- A new window will open where you can edit the shift times, if needed.
- Navigate to the date and shift time slot where coverage is needed.
- Click “+ Queue” to add shifts for that time slot.
- Select the number of shifts you want to add.
- Repeat these steps for each date and shift time slot where you need coverage.
- Review the total number of shifts in the bottom-right corner.
- Click “Post (#)” to post all queued shifts to the marketplace.
Deleting Open Shifts
- In the Day view, navigate to the date of the shift you want to remove.
- Select the unfilled shift you want to remove.
- Click “Remove Shift” at the bottom of the shift details panel.
- In the confirmation window, review the shift details to confirm you are removing the correct unfilled shift.

Click “Remove shift” to confirm.
Canceling a Booked Shift
- In the Day view, navigate to the date of the shift you want to cancel.
- Select the booked shift you want to cancel.

Click “Cancel Shift” at the bottom of the shift details panel.
NOTE: If there is an open shift in the same time slot, the app will suggest removing the open shift rather than canceling the booked one. Review the shift details and confirm your selection. - A confirmation window will open showing whether a cancellation fee applies.
- Click “Cancel shift” to confirm.
Editing Times for Open Shifts
- In the Day view, navigate to the date of the shift you want to edit.
- Locate the open shift you want to edit and click it.
- Click the pencil icon to edit the scheduled hours.
- Adjust the start and end time as needed.
- Click "Save" to confirm the changes.
Proposing Time Changes for Booked Shifts
- Coordinate the requested changes with the worker.
- In the Day view, navigate to the date of the shift you want to edit.
- Locate the booked shift you want to edit and click it.
- Click the pencil icon to edit the scheduled hours.
- Update the start and end time as needed.

Click "Propose" to send the worker a shift time proposal.
NOTE: The worker must accept the proposal before the updated shift times take effect. Shift time proposals expire if the worker clocks in or if the proposed start time passes.
Contacting a Worker
- In the Day view, navigate to the shift date for the worker you want to contact.
- Locate the booked shift and select it

Click the "Chat" tab in the shift details panel to message the worker.
Viewing Worker's Documents
- In the Day view, navigate to the shift date for the worker you want to review.
- Locate the booked shift and select it.
- In the shift details panel, click “View” next to “Documents” to review the worker’s documents.
- A Documents tab will open up.

Select the document you want to review.
Switching Between Workplaces
If you manage multiple workplaces:
- In the top-right corner, locate the current workplace name.
- Click the arrow next to the workplace name to open the workplace selector.
- Choose the workplace you want to access from the dropdown menu.
- The Schedule tab will update automatically for the selected location.
