This article explains how to enable badge requirements for your workplace, print worker badges, and resolve common badge-related issues.

Enabling a Badge Requirement
To add a badge requirement to your workplace account settings, contact support:
- Call the 24/7 Support line at 408-837-0116
- Submit the Workplace Support Request form
Once your account settings are updated, workers will be notified of the badge requirement for shifts at your workplace before their shift starts.
Printing a Worker's Badge
Available on desktop only.
Once the badge requirement is enabled for your workplace, you can print a worker's badge directly from the app. There are two ways to access the badge:
Option 1 — From the shift card in the calendar:
- Select the date on your Calendar page and locate the shift card

Select the badge icon next to the worker's name
- The badge opens in a new tab, ready to download and print
Option 2 — From the Workers page:
- Navigate to the My Professionals tab from the left menu
- Locate the worker and select their name to open the details panel

Select the ... (more options) button at the bottom of the panel
- Choose Download badge
- Select the role for the worker to create the badge
- ClickCreate badge
- The badge opens in a new tab, ready to download and print
Badge Preview
Once generated, the badge opens in a new tab and includes the following information:
- Worker's profile photo
- Worker's full name
- Professional type (e.g., RN, CNA, LVN)

Employment classification: Independent Contractor
Resolving a Missing Profile Picture Error
If you see an error stating the worker does not have a profile picture, the worker has not yet uploaded a photo in the app. A profile photo is required to create a badge.
Ask the worker to upload a clear photo in their Clipboard app to resolve this error.
