What should I do if I can't gain access to a facility?
If you are on time for your shift and you cannot gain access to the facility, please do the following:
- Navigate to “My Shifts” then click “View Shift Details”. From here, click the icon to review facility details, including the facility’s check-in instructions, details on multiple entrances, or numbers you can call.
- Contact the facility through the in-app chat feature by clicking the icon beside the facility name in the “My Shifts” tab. Start a chat with the facility and inform them that you cannot gain access.
If you have attempted the steps above and have not received a response from the facility after 30 minutes, you may cancel your shift and leave. We will reverse any Attendance Score deductions associated with your cancellation once we verify your location details.
I've contacted the facility and there are no facility instructions provided. What should I do?

I am at the end of my shift and can't find anyone to return keys or equipment. What should I do?
If there are no further instructions in the facility drawer, continue to contact the facility through the in-app chat and phone number provided in the drawer. Should you decide to leave with facility equipment or keys, it will be your responsibility to communicate this with the facility and to return them in a timely manner.
Will I be paid if I decide to leave?
While our team might be able to reverse the negative impact to your Attendance Score, please note that we are unable to offer compensation if you leave your shift before it ends.
What should I do if my shift has ended and the relief professional has not arrived?
You are not obligated to stay at the facility after your shift has ended. If you decide to stay, an authorized facility worker can adjust your shift times when signing your timesheet at the end of your shift. For extensions over two hours, ask the facility to send you a Shift Invite.
