What is A-Team?
You can now rank all professionals you have worked with to show your preferences.
A-Team is your top-ranking professionals who you consider your best. A-Team will help improve continuity of care at your facility and make sure your residents receive care from professionals they know and trust.
When you post shifts, we give your A-Team professionals Priority Access to all of your shifts for a set period of time. After this Priority Access period expires, we will offer your shifts to professionals who have worked at your facility before and are in good standing (e.g. not on your Do Not Return List).
We also instantly notify A-Team professionals on your behalf to ensure they are aware of your shifts.
Note: Professionals will see they have received a “Priority Plus” status when you add them to your A-Team.
How can I add/remove a professional from my A-Team?
You can add and remove professionals from your A-Team in the Professionals > My Professionals page. Your A-Team professionals will have a blue indicator around their profile.
You can reorder existing professionals or click “Add Professional” in the top right-hand corner of the screen and search for the professional's name that you want to add.
Your facility Team Members must have the following user roles to update your facility’s A-Team:
- Administrators
- Staffing Coordinators
- Supervisors with “can post shifts” permissions
What happened to Favorites?
A-Team is replacing Favorites. We believe A-Team will improve continuity of care for your residents and ensure your top professionals are prioritized for your shifts. Here is how we’ll do it:
- Your top-ranking professionals, i.e. your A-Team, get Priority Access to your shifts for a limited period of time. We want your best people working the majority of your shifts.
- After this Priority Access period ends, we offer your shifts to professionals who have not been DNR’d at your facility and have worked at least 5 shifts with you. This will help increase the number of familiar faces at your facility.
If your shift is still unfilled, we’ll quickly open it up to the rest of the Clipboard marketplace to keep your building well-staffed.
The “Favorites + Booked" page has been replaced by the "My Professionals” page in your Clipboard portal. Instead of star ratings, we ask that you update your rankings to tell us who you think is good, okay, and bad.
Why should I rank professionals outside of my A-Team?
We want to know your preferences and which professionals have excellent, okay, or just plain bad performance at your facility. Clipboard Health is invested in improving the quality of care at your facility. Ranking most professionals, even outside of your A-Team, at your facility would help Clipboard Health improve your quality experience and the experience of other facilities nearby.
Keeping the top-ranking professionals on your A-Team up-to-date also ensures your best professionals receive Priority Access to your shifts before anyone else.
What if a professional was really bad?
Please make a Do Not Return (DNR) request if you don’t want the professional to return to your facility. If you would prefer not to DNR the professional, please update your rankings to reflect their performance.
How can I add more spots on my A-Team roster?
How many A-Team professionals you can select is based on the number of shifts you post through the Clipboard platform. This helps ensure that more of your hours are worked by a select few professionals that you consider your best. If you would like to inquire about increasing the number of spots on your roster, please reach out to your account manager or contact Facility Support.
The number of A-Team spots you have is per professional type your post shifts for (CNA, LPN, RN, etc.)
Where can I view who on my A-Team has Priority Access to my shifts, and for how long?
You’ll see an “A-Team Access” tag on the shift card. If you hover over the tag you’ll see how much time is left in the Priority Access period for your A-Team.
If you click on the tag, you’ll see the full list of A-Team professionals that have Priority Access to your shift.
What if one of my A-Team professionals gets restricted?
If an A-Team professional becomes restricted (their Attendance Score drops to 0 or below), we will send you an email to remind you to review your A-Team and decide if you’d like to keep them on your roster.
The professional will not be removed from any shifts at your facility and will continue to receive Priority Access when you post shifts.
