What are Shift Invites?
Shift Invites are shifts that are sent directly to you by a facility. Only you can see an invite, and you can accept or decline the invite. Once you accept an invite, you will be assigned to that shift just like any other shift you claimed.
How will I know I have a shift invite?
You'll receive a push notification when an invite is sent to you, and you’ll see a blue banner at the bottom of your Clipboard app. Tapping this banner will open all available shift invites for you to review.
You can also see when you have a pending Shift Invite from the My Shifts tab. When you open a Shift Invite, you have the option to view the invite from the Facility Chat by tapping the chat icon. You accept decline or message the facility about the shift using the Facility Chat.
How long do I have to respond to a shift invite?
You will see on each invite how long you have before it expires. It’s important to respond quickly to invites so they don’t expire and to let facilities know if you are available or not. You can see when the Shift Invite expires on the Shift Invite.
What happens if I already have a shift booked at a time when a facility sends me an invite?
You can choose to cancel any previously booked shifts to accept an invite, but you will lose Attendance Score points for any cancellations. You will not lose Attendance Score points for rejecting an invitation.
Which facilities can invite me to shifts?
Any facility can invite you to shifts. It’s up to you whether you accept or reject an invitation.
Can I receive and accept invites when my account is restricted?
Yes, you may still receive and accept invites when your account is restricted.
Once I accept an invite, can I still cancel it?
Once you have accepted an invite to a shift, you can still cancel the shift, but will lose Attendance Score points according to how far in advance the shift is cancelled.
