What facilities can I refer Clipboard Health to?

You can refer any facility you know. A referral, and therefore your bonus, is more likely to happen if:

• You know someone who works at that facility
  • Better if the person is in charge (e.g., Administrators, Staffing Coordinators, DONs)
• You work at that facility
• You have worked there before
• You have another type of connection with the facility.

Now, don’t be afraid to attempt to refer a facility you don’t have a previous connection with. It has happened before! 

Finally, make sure they use your referral link, otherwise

• your referral will not qualify for a bonus.
• They will also not qualify for their shift credits.

How do I convince facilities to sign up for Clipboard?

Focus on why you and others like Clipboard

• What's important is why you like using Clipboard. Tell them about it!
• Let facilities know that Clipboard offers Instant Pay. Instant Pay attracts many healthcare professionals to book shifts on the Clipboard Health app, which means more professionals would want to book their shifts.

Explain how Clipboard can fulfill their needs, no matter what they are

• Mention some facilities post a lot of shifts every day
  • And that we have a lot of professionals ready to book that many shifts
• But others use us for one-off shifts/emergencies when their staff cannot work a shift.
  • And we love covering these too!

Explain how Clipboard offers a simple and easy experience to fill shifts

• Share this facility guide on how to post shifts. It's super easy!
• Tell them about Clipboard's ETA feature, where they can track healthcare professionals as they approach the facility
  • It will also tell them exactly when they will arrive.
• Tell them they can chat with professionals before, during, and after the shift

Clipboard takes attendance and reliability seriously

• Talk about Clipboard's Attendance Score. You can even show the Ratings page on your app and how it ensures that healthcare professionals show up for shifts, and show up on time.
• Let them know about Priority Access! Facilities can give Priority Access to professionals who they have designated as their top performers, which allows them to book shifts before the rest of the marketplace.
• Inform facilities that if a professional cancels their shift at the last minute, Clipboard has them covered: we'll increase the shift to a premium rate (at no cost to the facility!) and look for nearby professionals who can replace those who canceled. 

Mention it is free to check Clipboard out!

• Don't feel like you have to get them to sign up on the spot.
• Let them know that signing up is free. This will allow them to explore and try us out.
• If they are unsure, give them time to think it over, send them your link, and share the resources anyway. This way, they can check it out for themselves.

Regarding shift credits, they will earn shift credits equal to the same amount as your referral bonus. They can use those shift credits against past and future shifts.
