How the Referral Program Works
- Find your referral link on the Refer & Earn page, accessible via the left navigation menu on the web portal.
- Share your unique link with other workplaces.
- Workplaces can sign up via your referral link.
- You can track your referrals on the Refer & Earn page.
- Every time a referred workplace signs up and their first shift is booked and completed by a worker, both workplaces receive shift credits.
Shift Credit Amounts by Workplace Type

When one workplace type refers a different workplace type, each workplace earns the shift credits specific to their own type. For example, if a Long Term Care workplace refers a Dental Office, the Long Term Care workplace earns $100 and the Dental Office earns $150.
When Is a Referral Considered Successful?
A referral is considered successful when the referred workplace signs up using the referral link and posts their first shift that is booked and completed by a worker.
Note: To qualify for the referral bonus, the referred workplace must not be part of the same corporation as the referring workplace.
Using Shift Credits
Your workplace receives shift credits once the referred workplace's first shift is booked and completed by a worker. You can apply these shift credits to any future invoice of your choosing.
Note: Shift credits have no cash value and are not redeemable for cash. Clipboard reserves the right to modify or terminate this promotion at any time.

The referral link that the referred workplace uses during sign-up determines the credited referrer. Both the referrer and the referred workplace receive the shift credits.
