When a worker doesn't respond to their Attendance Confirmation Notification, the shift will be reposted as an Urgent Shift. When this occurs, you may encounter an event where both the originally scheduled worker and the replacement worker arrive to work the same shift.
Consider your options below and make the selection that best suits your needs.
Keep both workers:
If you keep both workers, your account will be charged both for the originally scheduled worker and for an additional worker according to the originally scheduled shift’s hourly rate.
Send one worker home:
If you decide to send one worker home, we recommend sending home the original worker, as they did not respond to the Attendance Confirmation Notification in a timely manner, resulting in an Urgent Shift and replacement worker.
Your account will not be charged a sent-home fee for sending either of the workers home.

Update:
To provide more transparency on the scenario above, all workplace users in all locations will now see status updates in the shift card when a worker's ETA changes and when we are looking for their replacement.
